Nationwide Summer Courses
I am writing in response to your advertisement in the Issue 2 of New Streetwise and I am writing in a hope that you consider me for the job as a course assistant next summer.
To start with, I am in my late teens. Actually, I have played the piano for five years and, to my way of thinking, I am quite good at it. To tell the truth, I am enthusiastic, hard working, flexible, energetic, patient, kind, tactful, well-bred and of course, I am always determined to do my best.
One of the reasons I am applying is that I love children very much. During last few days I have come increasingly to feel that this job perfectly suits for me. Moreover, I adore young children, working with them, sharing my impressions. With the help of your summer courses I am looking forward to expanding my professional perspectives, which I strongly believe is vital for my future career. Generally, I would be very pleased if you gave me this wonderful opportunity to improve my musical skills by spending a summer with children and I am confident that assisting in your summer course will give me a valuable educational experience, I would not otherwise have.
In fact, I am from a family of four. My parents are wonderful persons, and my sister, who is fifteen years old, is one of the best students in her music school. I myself am conscientious and unafraid of challenge. In general, languages are my best subjects, and I never get tired of learning. I am already fluent in Lithuanian, English, Russian languages.
It needless to say, my school is one of the best schools in Marijampole. It is also a friendly school which encourages good relations between students and teachers. I enjoy this atmosphere, as I am sociable person and get on well, with all people I meet.
