Analysis of Newspaper Research report Results
The newspaper research report talks about the reasons why the United States maternal death rate is higher than those in Europe.   There are several statistical procedures were used in the study and also verification of the study findings were from the World Health Organization and Family Care International.   These groups used quantitative methods of data analysis with the aim of drawing from the United States National Center for Health Statistics.   The analysis was prepared using a number of women in the United States who get pregnant every year.   The information was obtained as a result of carrying out a study in all U.S. public hospitals and health centers.   Consultations were offered   to private health centers and hospitals in order to obtain information on the number of women who get pregnant yearly.   Another statistical procedure was data analysis, only two variables were compared, the United States maternal death rate and the maternal death rate in Europe.   As a result it means that chi-square statistical tool was used to verify the finding. Given that the figures were given accurately, the analysis by chi-square was prepared at ninety five percent confidence interval (95% CI).   With statistical analysis there is always a working error or allowance given normally called degree of freedom (Jerome and Arnold, 1995).   Correlation and regression analysis was also done to compare the rate of maternal death in the United States and also Europe.   The process of correlation and regression analysis, analysis of variance referred to as ANOVA, using the F-statistics was conducted in analyzing the causes of United States pregnancy related deaths.   ANOVA and MANOVA   are used when there are more than two variables to be compared or analyzed.   These variables are grouped into treatment “effects and blocks” (Jerome and Arnold, 1995)....
