Organization psychology is defined by the study of the way that people work within an organization, and how people interact within an organization (Jex & Britt, 2008). Research along with evaluation how the structure of an organization is a key component to organizational psychology (Carr, 2014).   Many organizations are looking to profit, hit a certain margin; by adding in psychology this can help ensure that these goals are met by evaluating each person and utilizing employees to the best of their abilities.   This paper will explain the processes of organizational psychology. Discussion of processes from the point of the employees and company will be examined, and recruitment processes, along with organizational socialization. Closing in on the processes and how perspectives of an organization at large will allow one to see how the bottom lines in a company are met.
An organization wants to attract a big number of qualified people to apply for positions within the organization (Carr, 2014). This will allow a company to choose the best of the best to bring into the workplace. Recruitment Planning is the first step from an organizational process (Jex & Britt, 2008).   Companies have a strategy that involves recruiting people and they are how many people are needed within the organization, when the people are needed and who will be available mow and during the timeframe in the labor market. Succession planning is the forecast of the employees who might need to return to school, or retire. Organization want to make sure the new recruits are potentially able to step into another area if needed.
