M2 for this task I have been asked to compare the challenges to selected business activities within a selected organisation, in two different economic environments.
UNITED KINGDOM GDP IS
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the United Kingdom expanded 0.5 percent in the third quarter of 2011 over the previous quarter. Historically, from 1955 until 2011 the United Kingdom's average quarterly GDP Growth was 0.58 percent reaching an historical high of 5.30 percent in March of 1973 and a record low of -2.50 percent in March of 1974. The United Kingdom is among the world's most developed economies. Services, particularly banking, insurance, and business services account by far for the largest proportion of GDP while industry continues to decline in importance.
GDP being low will have a negative impact on bmw because there will a decrease in sales, Unemployment will rise, and there will be less disposable income.
UNITED STATES GDP IS
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the United States expanded 1.8 percent in the third quarter of 2011 over the previous quarter. Historically, from 1947 until 2011 the United States' average quarterly GDP Growth was 3.28 percent reaching an historical high of 17.20 percent in March of 1950 and a record low of -10.40 percent in March of 1958. The economy of the United States is the largest in the world.
Looking at both graph its shows that US and UK GDP is growing but however US gdp is higher, the countries with the highest GDP US and China which means demand in these countries will be huge, because GDP rises so will the expenditure also rise and when the demand for a product increases Bmw will usually try to supply more.
GDP being high will have a positive impact on bmw because Investment of bmw will rise, Employment will increase, Bmw will have more customers, and bmw will have an increase in sales and profit.
