'Students in Enterprise Programme' (SIEP) is a program loop or entrepreneurial skills enhancement program arranged by the Faculty to students of Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, University Malaysia Kelantan to provide additional input of learning activities in class which is using the program combination of pedagogical approaches such as observation, inquiry, learning through experience, case studies and simulation activities. Approach pedagogy is adjusted and adapted to the stage learning and identified themes.
Model and the implementation of the concept of entrepreneurship education in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship are divided into several stages. Implementation process of values and motivation began at an early stage in which the intent, spirit, mind-set, jihad and ruler being set. This process is followed with the second stage of the formation of attitudes and the actual construction of the entrepreneurial character to the students. Among the attitudes that are trying to set are positive value, dare to take risks, innovative and creative, inquisitive mind and pursuing excellence. This process concluded with the adoption level of knowledge and skills needed to plan business activities. Among the skills that are applied are the Entrepreneurial skills, Managerial skills, Technical skills, Communication skills, IT skills and Generic skills. Themes that guide the implementation stages of SIEP determined starting from year 1 until year 4. The theme used for the second year is ‘Make a Planning and an Early Preparation for Business’.
In each semester, faculty will set a goal to be achieved and students need to compliant to the plan being set in order to achieve the goal.
