Recruitment is all about selecting the right people for a particular job, when recruiting, you don’t want to select applicant without skills and knowledge which is right and suitable for that job. In most company they can be very strict in their recruitment and some of them have long recruitment process.
In this report am going to select an organisation and evaluate their recruitment process. My choosing organisation is British airways. British airway is one of UK largest airway and is based in United Kingdom. They have many airlines in different countries all over the world. The reason i choose British airway is because is a vast organisation and they requires a lot of recruitment process, which a candidate must all go through to become a successful employee in that organisation. My objective in this report is to briefly explain my choosing organisation illustrating their mission statements and also their business activity. I am also going to states their recruitment process and how they select their employees and the appraisal of the people. In this report i will also describe how British airway carry their staff activity and also recommended any method to assist them in recruiting staff to help them get the right candidate for any suitable position.
British airways which can also be known as BA, British airway was created in 1974 through the merge of three smaller airlines in UK based convoy size, they also carry the United Kingdom flag. Their main hub is located at Heathrow Airport in west London. In terms of the number of passenger that are been carried, British airways is the second largest behind easy jet.
