INTRODUCTION

As a teacher, it is not just important to be focused on the class topic, it is also important to recognize how students improve their spoken language, if they have a fluent and accurate speaking according to the level they are in, in order to increase their performance if we have that opportunity or, on the other hand, to help them reach the level. During this task the reader will be able to find an evaluation of the learner’s spoken language, which includes a variety of correct and incorrect samples including grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, discourse, and style; explaining each.

The speaking skill is very important during the process of learning a language because we apply all grammar and vocabulary knowledge. Effective speakers are able to process language in their own heads and put it into coherent order so that it comes out in forms that are comprehensible, it involves interaction with, at least, one more person; which means, we need not only the speaking skill, but listening skills is part of it, to understand how the other participant is feeling and how you are going to react in order to have a successful conversation.

  I. CLASS PROFILE

The evaluation was made in a B1 level class made up of 11 girls and 3 boys; they are university students; ages between 19 and 21 years old. English class is mandatory, that is why sometimes university students do not feel comfortable in the class, it is not like they chose to have the class; however, they show enthusiasm during the class. When it is time to speak in front of the group the problems arise, they are not shy but afraid to make mistakes when speaking so if the teacher does not encourage them to participate, participation would not exist in the classroom. A pleasant atmosphere surrounds the classroom so the teacher feels comfortable in front of the group.
