In the novel Charlie St. Cloud the author Ben Sherwood illustrates the incredible and loving brotherhood   between Charlie and his little brother Sam. Charlie insists on taking Sam to a baseball game just outside of town when the two become involved in a terrible car accident that threatens Charlie’s life and unfortunately takes Sams. Charlie soon recognizes that he is given a gift from god, to be able to see Sam’s spirit.
