Confucianism in Practice
Confucianism can be a practical use in everyday life. Confucius seeks harmonious society based on ultimate good and morals; it is the philosophy of life in china. Confucian can work for either party to get a candidate elected, if they agree with the philosophy. The cool thing about the way China does things is that a business relationship is not a contract it is a commitment. It’s not the paper that matters it is the permanent relationship with the person. They also don’t have much or anything to do with people they don’t have a connection with. They want to be in business relationships with people they can trust. If they are screwed over they don’t fight back because they believe karma will take care of everything.
The Confucianism way of life is very freeing and simple; however there are certain “rules” they believe in order to achieve the perfect society. They are more focused on the way things are done than how fast they are accomplished. They believe in each person fulfilling their roles and obligations. They derive wisdom from both history and experience. The focus is on past and present, not the future because that is unknown.
If a candidate were to agree with these philosophies of life it would look very attractive to the voters. Since they are few harmony as a good thing to possess a politician wouldn’t go around back stabbing and attempting to destroy the opponent with lies. Chinese try to follow duty, or righteous behavior. They avoid conflict and are willing to compromise with others.
