One of most traditional dishes of the Colombian kitchen, the bandeja paisa, has become an excellent alternative for those who look for new taste sensations. Barranquilla Expression of Folklore
Barranquilla's Carnival is the greatest folklore expression of Colombian showing the creativity of its people, demonstrated through cultural events such as dances and costumes. It lasts four days begins Saturday and ends the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. On the first day, is the battle of the flowers, a procession of floats. The second day, there are various folklore groups in a major city roads. The third day is the orchestra festival, where the best musical groups compete for the gold Congo. Finally, the festival ends with Joselito Carnaval's funeral, a character who symbolizes the joy of the holidays. Cultural event that includes traditions based on the creativity expressed in dance, music, and costumes.
