Casual Laborer – Roadway Operations
City of Regina
To whom it may concern:
It is evident that the City of Regina is looking for new employees in the Roadway Operations Department. Most importantly, the City is perhaps interested in recruiting hard-working and dedicated workers. I believe that my work experience and habits would be a great asset to the department.
My background, qualifications and work experience should be well-suited to your company’s specific requirements. The last summer I was an employee to the same department. I was stationed at the Snow Dump Site with three other workers and our goal was to clean and pick up trash all throughout the field before the fall season. I worked there for three months until all of us were laid off due to the weather conditions and school was starting. Neeraj, George Galloway and Kevin Foul were our managers who checked on us day to day and supervised our progress.
I achieved WHMIS certificate and sharps & needles training during my time at the City.
Please refer to the accompanying resume to provide you with more specific details of my qualifications and experience. I believe that having me a part the City of Regina team would make a great asset in providing hard-work and dedication to the group. To conclude, I would like to thank you for taking your time in reviewing my application/resume and hope to hear from the department in the upcoming future.
