First I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for all the support and effort that you putt in the company and maintain a great communication between all the employees. I’m sending you this email to talk about the financial difficulties that the company is facing at this point. I know that many employees have been with the company for many years and that several new people mostly women were hired to remedy the lack of diversity in the workplace. I have received intrusion for each manager to decrease his or her employee payroll by 15 %. I have reviewed the situation and I have gathered some ideas how to approach this ethical dilemma. I came up with the idea to reduce payroll by laying some people off and making a decision who will be layoff depending in many reason why we choosing the person to be layoff. There might be some people that might not be reaching the standard production or work performance. I think we can make a decision very carefully having in consideration in many factors to choose these people that managers will lay off. This way it will decrease the payroll by 15 percent. I personal feel is a tough decision and morally it touch my hart to know that some people are going to lose their job, but I do understand that a decision that the company need to take and implement this action and that action need to take place for benefit of the company to be able to continue.
