This report has been commissioned by the Fruit Growers Co-Operative as an undertaking to identify and analyse an ethical dilemma. The purpose of the report is to provide a case study example to highlight the importance of ethics in business, why it is an ethical dilemma and analyse the problem from a Utilitarian perspective and a Deontological perspective and critique what happened using various normative theories and determine what should have happened from an ethical and sustainable perspective.

A Trader working for the Fruit Growers Co-Operative whom is responsible for trading fruit Mangoes and the recently added Avocadoes to their fruit lines. This trader has lined up a buyer to supply both lines. The buyer from the Co-Operative is offered a bid to buy his entire supply of Avocadoes at the Market rate (Currently Avocadoes $30.00 per tray) and he would also take all his Mango supply as well at a significantly discounted rate $15.00 per Tray to Current Market rate (Mangoes $30.00 per tray). In a view of expanding into the newly added line of Avocadoes the Trader accepts the bid and writes up the contracts.
