The two countries I selected were Nigeria and Ethiopia.   I chose these two particular countries because they’re both very interesting and I wanted to get more information on the two.   Two social problems that are common in both countries is the great depression of water shortage.   In Ethiopia billions of people face water shortage, poor sanitation, and lack of access to clean water.   This is caused by the location Ethiopia resides in.   Many of the residents collect water from very shallow water sources.   Especially from places that are contaminated with human and animal waste, worms and diseases.   Some people frequently have clean water to bathe, which causes infections and sicknesses.   Like Ethiopia, Nigeria too suffers greatly from unclean water.   However they also suffer from desertification.   This is because the livestock overpowers the grass and the sand from the Sahara Desert blows over the grass, so that it cannot grow.   This situation makes it harder to grow crops, which is an important factor for people in Nigeria.The history dealing with this problem in Nigeria and Ethiopia is still happening in those very same areas today.   Water shortage is among the main problems to be faced by many societies such as Nigeria and Ethiopia.   Economically, the hardest part about this situation is finding a reliable source of sanitized water for the people to use.   This is because most of the water is contaminated with numerous amounts of waste from the people living in these places, because they have nowhere else to dispose the waste.   Political and socially, the problem of better sanitized water and a lesser water shortage would improve the public health care.   Most people are easy to catch a disease, especially the children because of the unclean water.  
There are more than 18 million students in Nigerian schools at all levels.   The country adopted a 6-3-3-4 educational policy in 1982.   The policy requires six years of primary education, a 2-tier which includes a...
