In the past, people did not have many choices about their future job. They usually continue their fathers and grandfathers jobs and careers. Nowadays, there are multiple of job to choose from. I always ask myself if I would rather have a job that I love regardless of the money, or would I rather make a ton of money but hate what I do? I decided that my future job is going to be something that I love. So, after a lot of research, I have been thinking about becoming an accountant. My desire to become an accountant began when I was young, because I always had a strong interest in numbers and mathematics in general. I want to be able to use my initiative, feel freedom, be independent, gain self satisfaction and get well-paid and I think work as an accountant will bring that to me. Moreover, I want to job that is interesting rather than a routine job, which brings boredom and kills motivation and self-development. I want from my future job to be adventurous and different to keep my mind going and to keep me busy throughout the day. To some people, be an accountant may sound boring, but to me, this job sounds exciting and it includes lots of numbers that are never the same. So, having this job I wouldn’t feel like I was doing the same thing over and over again.
My number one consideration for accepting a job is not the money; it’s the people I will work with. My boss and my co-workers that will surround me everyday are crucial for my happiness and success at a job. I want to be successful in my future job and be useful to my family make them proud and happy. Now, I am studying hard to get more knowledge and gain different skills to meet my objectives.
