Golf is a precision club and ball sport, in which competing players use many types of clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a golf course using the fewest number of strokes.
I have to be honest I am one of the worst golfer in the world. The first time I went onto a golf course with my sister and I is when I decided this is not the game for me. I put the ball on the T then looked out in to the far distance at the flag on the pole. I awkwardly got my fee positioned and drew back the club and swung as hard as I could. I managed to hit myself with the golf club and shoot the ball backward. It was pretty pitiful
Golf is not a contact sport and does not require running 5 miles, but it does allow you to get outside and get some exercise. Course distances can be anywhere from 4,000 yards to 7,000 yards for a18-hole round. Even though you can get some vitamin D from the foods you eat, your body can make plenty of this vitamin to sustain you by capturing it from sunshine. Being outside and in the sunshine playing golf can allow you to get the vitamin D you need to maintain strong bones. Golf allows people to connect through many avenues: memberships, socials, tournaments and leagues. Because golf is not a constantly moving sport, it allows considerable down time to chat with people and make friends on the course. Golf is not as much fun when playing alone. Playing golf is not only good for your body, it soothes the mind. Being outside in a relaxing and serene environment can help you escape a busy and stressful life. The four hours spent on the course is a fine way to relax and be tranquil, allowing yourself to escape into the game for a while.
Even though my horrific golf game was a disaster I had the greatest experience of my life.
