I, Eileen Phan, believe that I should be accepted into the Allied Health Assisting Program because I have a positive concept with everything that I do, it will open doors to a better opportunity and the desire I have towards helping others. I am certain that H.O.S.A. will help better my education and prepare me for what I need to know to be able to be successful in the dental or nursing field.
As a student joining the Allied Health Assisting Program I strongly believe that determination, leadership and responsibility are big roles that take part in everyday interactions in H.O.S.A. I am convinced that a person like myself will be able to show other peers a positive attitude where they can contingency take on an influential role. Having a positive attitude will encourage others to become productive in everything they participate in, regardless of where an individual stands in the Health Science class I will always be around to lend a helping hand. I am sure that my attitude will only bring joy to other peers that are working with me. As the saying goes, “ Positive attitudes are contagious.”
Having experience in medical clinics will only open doors to much more opportunities for me in the near future. Being in H.O.S.A will give me a heap of chances to be able to actually experience hands on activities that will only benefit me. For instance, being able to practice CPR on dummies. Having experience will make applying for colleges and jobs much easier. Being in the Allied Health Assisting Program will without a doubt encourage me to fulfill my dreams of becoming a nurse or dentist.
Helping others is a characteristic that I behold within myself. Assisting others is most definitely one of the main aspects of life today. There are many ways that I can help others in this Health Assisting Program. For instance, providing transportation for others who do not have a ride to their clinics.
