September 19, 2013 VISUAL LEARNERS Do I Have Too Draw You a Picture Visual/spatial learning is perceiving information through visualization. This is a style of learning that defines how I understand the world. It can be perceived as a learning challenge or it can be perceived as a gift. I will let you decide. I am going to share with you how I discovered my style of learning .How it’s affected me and how I manage it today.
When I first became aware of this phenomenon I was taking some Basic Truth Principles classes at my Church. On the first day the teacher drew this big round circle with two linear lines in the middle on the blackboard. Every time she would read from the syllabus she would draw a picture I was understanding everything and keeping focused it was so clear .At the end of class she drew a picture of a light bulb. Then in her sweet angelic, soft voice she stated, “There are several learning styles’ she explained two of them audio and visual. She also stated, “You have a divine appointment to be here” God does not make mistakes. . I have just about all the characteristic of being a visual/spacial learner. This brings me to my next point how it affected my life....
