Some decades ago, the media influence started to grow in a radical way in our society, giving to the people a chance for looking through a new window. A world of real time information and a new way of entertainment had opened in front of our eyes.
But this progress, introduced a new way of behaviour in our lives too. As we have developed a different way to make decisions. Nowadays we base our elections on the information that we have either from our co workers, news, TV, friends, family, etc.
Besides, our social routines have changed a lot too. In one way, our relationships with friends and of course with family are totally different from they used to be. We sit together to watch TV programmes, and sometimes we talk about what we are watching, but on the other hand, we can spend hours and hours in front of the TV without sharing a word with the person who is beside us.
And a really estrange effect happens with media of today, we tend to trust everything which is said on it. It seems to be the God’s word. So powerful the media is…
What about the wisdom that our personal living and experiences give us? We need to be aware of this phenomenon.
How to learn to distinguish where the limit is? It seems something unattainable…
From my personal opinion, we should learn to come back to real relationships, sharing opinions and learning new experiences from our relatives and friends, enjoying the tangible real life.
