First, before you allow your child on the internet make sure the computer or laptop they will be using is equipped with an antivirus program, to protect the computer from virus and other harmful things the internet can cause. It is also important to install a filtering program to keep your child from going on sites that are not appropriate for them; this program will block selected sites and searches. Next, it is important to check your child’s computer regularly, check their history, and see what they have been searching and what type of sites they have been on.
