Privacy can have different meaning to lots of people because of our diverse nature to region, beliefs, religion etc. But most legislations covering privacy says this as the basic right to humans confidentiality (a right to indicate that information is kept privately), anonymity (a right to stay unknown to the society) and solitude (to be able to be alone and have freedom without been bordered). There are categories to privacy, bodily privacy, territorial privacy, communication privacy and information privacy which information system has affected this entire category.
When information about a product is read online, it provides proper description of the product. Same way human personal information can be viewed and stored, which eventually takes away human freedom and help in manipulating behaviors. Personal information tells more about an individual making it easy to profile that person (what humans like, how we relate to people, our habits, abilities, knowledge and skills, which help to trace every aspect of person’s life.
