Most of the schools offer a marine biologist training program that fulfill the basic requirements for admission to graduate school. These classes usually offer both classroom and hands on work. You must be at least 18 to become one. You can also become one over the internet in virtual classrooms and courses online. It gives students the opportunity to work at their own pace and juggle heavy schedules however, they will still need to find time to complete their labs and fieldwork studies at a training center or research center.
