My interest in finance has motivated my choice of course work throughout college, and has driven me to seek work experience that has developed my understanding of the field. I Through my internship in China International Trust and Investment Cooperation (CITIC), which is the largest Investment Company in China, as well as my role as a part-time Investment Associate in Merrill Lynch Global Wealth and Investment Management, I’ve learned…During my three-month internship in CITIC, I worked with a team in gathering Mezzanine debt through asset securitization for a $3-billion coalmine M&A project. I assisted the team members to analyze the coalmine’s income statement and predicted the company’s future cash flows. As a result, I was granted the opportunity to work with the Private Equity firm to oversee the process of the acquisition. (What u got out of it emotionally; why is this important)
At Merrill Lynch, I worked as a part-time investment associate during the spring semester and the summer of my junior year. I was trained to use data management software such as the SalesForce and Merrill Lynch’s own data management dashboard.
