To launch a Bank wide one-day activity for the Mooncake Festival on the last working day of September (September 28) that will generate new low-cost deposits for the Bank and establish good relations among the branches and their clients at the same time.
2. Program Definition
The Mooncake Festival is a festival that is one of the highlights of the year for the local Chinese community wherein Chinese families get-together and be thankful of their good fortune.
Branches would sponsor fun activities during the day of the festival wherein, first, gift items will be given away to new CASA accounts opened by new and existing clients. Second, a game shall be carried out in the branch for existing and prospective High Net Worth clients that would give them a chance to win prizes and get gift items.
Likewise, it would be an inter-regional and bankwide competition, the winners being the branch who garners the biggest number of new accounts solicited for the whole month of September per region and the grand prize winner who garners the highest number of solicited new accounts among the top branches in each region, respectively.
a. Improve the relationship and rapport between the bank and clients, especially the Chinese clients, outside the usual banking norms.
b. Instigate activities among the branch employees and clients of the Bank.
c. New source of low cost deposits for the Bank.
d. In line with the Bank’s thrusts of improving CA/SA ratio in the overall deposit mix.
e. New branding or image for the Bank in the area of extracurricular activities.
