Hello my name is Eric Lewis I’m 37 yrs. old and the son of James and Irma Lewis. I have a Brother named Jimmy Lewis, and a Sister in law, her name is Heather Wickham Lewis. My childhood was good like most others. I am married to Janice Lewis and have 4 stepchildren and one grandson name Timothy Ragland III. I had friends and family who loved me and care for me. While transcending into my teen years, I was in sports and played in the band. I received many awards while I attended Evert’s Middle School for 2 years and I later transferred to Logan Elm High School where I graduated. I had a love for sports and continued to play football, basketball and I ran track. I went to state twice and I received a scholarship to college till I got in a wreck and I couldn’t run in my final meet. That’s when I became a man. This is my story…..
I was in the streets doing drugs, hanging out with gangs, and doing things I knew deep in my heart that I shouldn’t be doing. I had been shot 3 times and went to prison for a year out of my life. Let’s just say, “I was not the man that I needed to be”. I did attended church and I played drums in the choir at Second Baptist Church, in Circleville Ohio. My feeling was I didn’t care about nothing and it didn’t matter at this time in my life what happened to me. When I got shot, I thought I was going to die; but God said, “It wasn’t my time to go, he had more for me to do in my life. I was depressed and thought about just ending my life, but I never could come to grips and doing it. On the other hand, and perhaps more importantly,
