Abstract
This paper will tell the story of a time in United States that affected the African American society. It will retell “the time’s where black people were treated as if we were invisible but depended on to do things white people were too lazy to do” (Cooper, personal communication, February 12th 2012). I will use the interview between my grandmother and me, along with credible information to give a narrative flashback of the Civil Rights Movement.
