Pride and Prejudice was set in the country of Hertfordshire, which is about 50 miles away from London. This is a love story that revolved around and how Mr. Darcy who was a man of large fortune but single and stubborn meet and learned to love Elizabeth Bennet, the second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet.
The movie started with the five daughters (Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia) of Mr. Bennet and not a single one of them was married. That was a big problem because Mr. and Mrs. Bennet were getting older and it was a need for their daughters to find a husband who can take their daughters away and give them a new life. Because of that, it appeared to the couple as a big threat for they loved each daughter so much and did not want them to face a miserable homeless life.
One night there was a grand ball and the single, rich man who owns half of Derbyshire, Mr. Darcy was invited to that public ball. The five young girls were so excited to see that man who could be their future husband. Along with Mr. Darcy was his good friend who was also rich and single, Mr. Bingley – who fell in love with the eldest daughter, Jane Bennet.
While Mr. Bingley enjoys his visit in Hertfordshire, his love for Jane grew to something greater and stronger. Jane was the prettiest one from all the children of Mr. Bennet but she is the kind of girl that does not show her affection for others not even to her sisters. After some time, Mr. Darcy noticed how in love his best friend was. From Darcy’s perspective, Jane did not love his friend as much as he loved her, so he decided to go back to London with his friend and save him from marrying the wrong person. All along, Darcy was thinking that Jane was only pretending to like Bingley for money and fortune.
When Jane found out that his love had left Hertfordshire for London, she followed him because of love, but...
