M&Z Cabinets and Fixtures is a medium sized manufacturing company located in Richmond, Canada. M&Z has been in business since 2000, and our main task involves distributing custom cabinetry and other fixtures for the domestic market.
Through keeping our company’s goal in mind, which is undertaking various innovative and industry-leading approaches to ensure maximum returns on customers’ investments with minimum disruptions to their ongoing operations, M&Z has kept making high profits for several years and has gradually dominated in the local market.
Now, since our company is planning to expand business overseas and expecting to acquire more customers from internationally diversified markets, we are eager to find a tailored Supply Chain Management software to be implemented and would like to invite suitable Supply Chain Management software providers through a bidding process.
Since this is the first time for M&Z to implement Supply Chain Management software, there is a need for our company to start with a request for information (RFI), which asks potential vendors or service providers for information regarding their products and services, before sending out the actual request for proposal (RFP). Through studying the three sources of request for proposal (RFP), M&Z finally decided to use the Supply Chain Management (SCM) RFP Template as a way of implementing Supply Chain Management software. The software template will be used to not only help M&Z save time and control costs but also communicate clearly with vendors at nearly every stage of its Supply Chain Management (SCM) software selection projects.
