If my social status changed dramatically or drastically by winning the lottery, it would definitely change to some degree for the better. It would not change who I am as a person. This type of change would only change my financial status. Many people seem to think that money brings happiness; people with money have many issues, problems and worries just as much as someone with no money and maybe more. Winning the lottery will not solve all my problems, it would only provide me with stability and allow me to purchase material things and provide a good life style for my family. I would be able to pay for my daughters college, purchase a home, afford that luxury car I’ve always dreamed about, take vacations whenever and wherever I chose to. Winning the lottery would definitely enhance and provide me with a more material lifestyle. I would have fewer struggles, but I would continue to have the same issues that life brings.
There’s a saying “more money, more power, more power, more problems” I believe this to be a true statement. This can also cause problems and conflict amongst family and friends; everyone’s always looking for a handout or feel as though their owed something. This could also make you susceptible to robbery and a target to murder. If I won the lottery today I would not stop being who I am and would continue to pursue my dream of owning my own company. I would appreciate the fact that I’ve been blessed and would invest and use my winnings wisely. Material things are not that important to me as I do like and want things, but my main priority is my family and making sure they are taken care of mentally, physically and financially. I would continue to educate myself even though I wouldn’t have to. I don’t want to be an ignorant or uneducated rich individual.
