It starts with Jonah getting on a ship to go to Tarshish instead of going to Nineveh as the lord has told him to. He falls asleep on the ship and a great storm is placed upon the sea because of his disobedience. The storm stops once he is tossed into the sea where God takes a great fish and literally swallows Jonah. He was released from the fish once he repented for his disobedience. After they repented God relented form the disaster he would once bring them.
