In India the business was set up in the year 1996. SHV India has a corporate office in Hyderabad with regional offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Chennai. Respective regions are controlled by regional business heads with respect to sales and operations. With respect to Procurement it was centralized procurement department at Hyderabad supporting to all regions respectively.
SHV on part of its sales process will set up LPG Cylinder manifold Installations & Bulk Installations across the length and breadth of the country in the customer premises under one predominant business model BOM (Build, Own and Maintain).
As the customer expectations are growing day by day, organization need to respond to those challenges in the changing environment according to the market dynamics to commission the projects in time so that sales will increase and bottom line will improve.
In the changing environment, customer is expecting the project to be commissioned within 4 weeks from the date of issue of Bank Guarantee whereas the agreement will be signed in advance. Due to various reasons it is not only leading to customer dissatisfaction there is loss in productivity across the chain and impact on costs.
