I. The Bermuda Triangle is a region located in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean.
A. It borders the Straits of Florida, the Bahamas, and the entire Caribbean island area and the Atlantic east to the Azores.
B. The area is one of the most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world, as well as cruises, with ships crossing through it daily for ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands.

II. The Bermuda Triangle contains quite an amazing history.
A. The earliest allegation of unusual disappearances in the Bermuda area appeared on September 16, 1950 in an Associated Press article by Edward Van Winkle Jones.
