THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
Nowadays, most subdivisions have their own clubhouse to mostly act as a venue for certain occasions or other gatherings. But before an occasion may be allowed to occur in that subdivision’s clubhouse, first there must be a system that will keep and process a reservation of a resident. It will also be vital to have a record of every reservation logs for future reference. Also, not every subdivisions have their own water source for residence allocation for it must have a specialized system that would involve both water readings, recordings, calculations and billings. That particular system must be accurate due to the essential involvement of money and the given trust of the residence which are the regular customers of the subdivision’s own water supplementation.
For a long time, Northfields subdivision, having its own water source to supply the entire residence, had been doing the calculations of its water billing for the residence in Microsoft Excel alone. This had caused the officer in charge, a not so fast & convenient of undertaking processes when it comes to updating and searching for a particular file. And as for its clubhouse reservation, it was manually done on paper which apparently lacked organization and formality. And so the researchers came up with a study that would suffice the efficiency and convenience the client needs. The said research will improve the authenticity of the records with better security, it will help the end-user to easily browse the files through the system and would offer some features that improves the previous system the client had been using for a long time.
