Our organization is one that carries the motto of increasing sales through collaboration and teamwork. This is a part of our organizational culture and will influence our training program. Our training program will be developed to focus on teambuilding skills and will offer reward incentives to those trainees that meet their sales objectives after successfully completing the training program (HR Impact on Corporate Culture: HR Human Resources. ,n.d.). This area of employee development is so important to our organization that we will be sure to include substantial funding to the training program to insure that it is capable in successfully training our employees.
When implementing a training and development program there are some challenges to consider. In international or global companies such as us management must determine how to effective communicate the message needed to employees in an effective cost efficient way (Noe, R.A. , 2010).. Training and development also has the challenge of keeping up with the fast pace of technology as different aspects change T & D must be able to keep up with the change of products etc. and continue to facilitate these changes to their employees. Training and development also faces the challenge of working in a multi faceted and diverse population of employees, and creating training plans that can be communicated effectively to a variety of employees (AIU Online, 2012).
One of the challenges that will be addressed is effectively training international and global employees. I would do this by implementing a (WBT) training or Web-based training system(AIU Online, 2012). This is so that all employees will have access to the same training material anywhere all over the world through the use of the internet. This would allow any changes that need to be made to training material to be changed quickly and then distributed to employees quickly.
