One day I went to a restaurant called Olive Garden. I had to wear sweats and a loose shirt for the fact that I just got done having a hysterectomy and had several staples across my lower abdomen. One co-worker was talking to a friend a few tables away from me and my husband. When they were talking I just so happen to glance over there and the waitress was talking loud enough for us to hear them and said something along the lines how can someone come in to a really nice restaurant were you come dressed up a little, but she came wearing sweats and a loose shirt looking like a scrub, not only looking like a scrub are they actually able to afford their meals as the co-worker asked the friend and started laughing.
Describe your reaction, what did you do as a result of the unethical practice (such as quit shopping at that business, told others, filed a formal complaint, etc.). ( Longenecker, Petty, Palich, Hoy, 2012)
My reactions were professional and I did not say anything to her, I do not like confrontation. I left her a tip like I do everyone else when we go out to dinner. I asked if I can talk to a manager after she left and told the manager what happened, the manager said thank you for that information. The next time I was able to go in dressed up like me and not in sweats I requested that I do not have that lady as my waiter. Never seen this coming and the greeter told us that she no longer works there I was very shocked.

I do not think that the business owner could have done anymore than what they actually did. I do not like confrontation and I did not need her to get fired, I think if she just got talked to about the situation and let her know that she cannot do that to the consumers,...
