Argument Essay
              Obesity in the United States has been increasingly cited as a major health issue in recent
decades. Obesity rates in the United States are among the highest in the world 35.7% of
American adults obese. American should stop eating unhealthy.
        Our body runs on fuel in the form of food, and if the fuel you put in your body is not high-

grade, we should not expect your body to give you peak performance. To keep our body running

to the best of its ability, it is up to as to feed it healthy foods. Unhealthy foods may satisfy your

hunger, but they may also break your body down in the long run. The foods we eat can influence

how we feel and how we look, and they can affect your health. Healthy food contains vitamins

our body requires to function normally, and these vitamins include Vitamins A, D, E, K, C and

the B vitamins. Necessary minerals are also found in healthy foods. The foods we eat now can

result in good or bad health in the future. Some of the health conditions that arise from unhealthy

eating include high blood pressure, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes.

    When we consume food, your body breaks it down either to be used as immediate energy or

to be stored for later. High-calorie, nutrient-dense, healthy foods help to fuel running

performance by making you feel more alert and energetic. However, unhealthy foods can lead to

a decrease in performance. High-sugar junk food won't provide you with lasting energy, which

will mean that you may suffer energy crashes and quickly feel fatigued after eating them. They

can also make you feel bloated and uncomfortable.

          Foods that contain saturated fat, trans fat or cholesterol are foods that can lead to

narrowing of the arteries due to plaque formation on artery walls. Foods that contain saturated fat
