Our reliance on fossil fuels have taken obvious casualties in the environment. Strip mining, deep sea oil drilling, mountaintop removal, and the accidents that occur in the processes such as mine collapses, natural gas explosions, oil spills, landslides triggered by heavy industrial activity and contamination of water and other sources necessary to humanity are signs that all advanced and developing nations must take the steps to make a change in how energy is gotten. We can even go to the extremities of a nuclear meltdown. In the end it is the people who will end up paying the ultimate price for outmoded and unnecessary energy gathering methods.

Green energy seems to be quite abundant. In certain places it is almost finite. The deserts of Arizona and the northern regions of Mexico have a large potential when it comes to solar power due to to the fact that the panels are exposed in those barren lands. The establishment of a bi-national solar plant could impact the price of energy and diplomatic alliances in a positive way. Our nations northern regions as well as the highlands of the Himalayas are great places for wind farming. The people of those areas would greatly benefit from revenue gained from the abundance of their electricity potential. Aside from deep oil reserves, the oceans hold a great energy harnessing potential as well. The Antarctic Circumpolar Current is the strongest in the world and a great place for placing hydro currents which would generate energy. We could go on naming the places great for green development but the point remains true. Green energy is almost finite and very beneficial. Now questions will arise like “Is green energy applicable at an industrial scale?” and for that our answer is “Yes”. One of the most potential sources of green energy is Geothermal energy. It can be found almost anywhere and it's abundance is in everyone of it's sources. Manufacturing areas, industrial complexes, and other heavy and advance industries already...
