Woman seated in the underground
She was just sitting there, like she was waiting for something, but what would you have to sit in the subway waiting for every day. She was sitting there from early in the morning to late in the evening, just looking at the trains. What no one knew was that she was waiting for her son to arrive. One morning in the newspaper she read about a British soldier who had assassinated the leader of Iraq all by himself. When she saw the picture in the article she recognized her son. She was very happy because she knew that he was alive, and she couldn’t wait until he arrived in the train.
She kept waiting for another month without hearing anything from her son, but she was still certain that he would be home soon. She read in the newspapers that he was going to be knighted when he came home.
